Refunds go to your balance, where they stay and never expire. This page gives the rule, three examples with real pack sizes, and how to ask.

**Quick answer — Can I get a refund on WebReaderAPI credits?**

Yes, in two cases. Within 72 hours of purchase, a **WebReaderAPI** credit pack goes back to your balance if you used less than 20% of it. A pack that does not work, and that support cannot fix within 24 hours, is credited back in full. Top-ups stay on your balance; only the part added to reach the $25 minimum can be paid back.

## What is the exact rule?

A credit pack bought less than 72 hours ago returns to your balance if under 20% of its credits were used. If a pack does not work and support cannot solve it within 24 hours, all of it returns to your balance. Top-ups stay as balance and are not refunded unless the law says otherwise; the amount added only to reach the minimum top-up can be sent back on request within 30 days, in USDT or USDC, while unspent.

Refund requests are handled by a person, and the amount appears on your balance once approved. Failed requests never need a refund, because they use no credit in the first place. That includes pages refused by robots.txt, by a site's AI preference, or by the site itself.

## Example 1: a pack bought by mistake

You buy 100,000 pages for $21.75, read 3,000 pages to test, and decide a smaller pack suits you. You ask the next day. You used 3% of the pack, under the 20% limit and within 72 hours, so the full $21.75 goes back to your balance. You can then buy 10,000 pages for $3.75 from it.

## Example 2: a pack that does not work

You buy 50,000 pages for $14.25, and every request returns an error on our side for a reason support cannot fix within 24 hours. The pack is credited back in full, whatever share of it you had tried to use.

## Example 3: the minimum top-up

You only need 10,000 pages at $3.75, but the minimum top-up is $25. The difference stays on your balance for later packs. If you do not spend it, you can ask for that difference to be paid back within 30 days of the payment, in USDT or USDC. Nothing else in a top-up is paid back, except where the law requires it.

## How do I ask for a refund?

Use the support form in the client area, or write to support@webreaderapi.com with the order ID shown in your order history (never your account number or an API key). Support replies within 12 hours; once a refund is approved, the amount appears on your balance.

## Why do refunds go to the balance?

Because crypto payments cannot be reversed like card payments, and sending coins back costs network fees each time. A balance credit is immediate and costs you nothing. The one exception, paid back in stablecoins, is the part of a top-up added only to reach the minimum, within 30 days and if unspent. Payments are not paid back otherwise, except where the law requires it.
