Pay for a web reader API in crypto

A step-by-step guide to topping up your WebReaderAPI balance in crypto and turning it into page credits, with the mistakes to avoid.

Last updated: · 4 min read

Quick answer

How do I pay for WebReaderAPI with crypto?

Top up your WebReaderAPI balance with at least $25 in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC: send the exact amount shown, on the network shown, then click "I've sent the payment". The top-up is matched by its exact amount and credited once confirmed. You then buy page credits from the balance, from $3.75 for 10,000 pages. No KYC.

Which coins can I pay with?

Six coins, one balance. USDT works on TRC-20 or ERC-20, USDC on ERC-20; the payment page shows the address and network for the coin you pick.

  • BTCBitcoin
  • USDTTetherTRC-20 or ERC-20
  • USDCUSD CoinERC-20
  • ETHEthereum
  • SOLSolana
  • LTCLitecoin

How does a crypto top-up work, step by step?

Five steps from an empty account to a working API key. The only wait is the blockchain confirmation.

  1. Choose an amount and a coin

Enter at least $25 and pick BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL or LTC. The payment page converts the dollar amount into that coin.

  2. Send the exact amount

Copy the address and the amount shown, and send them on the network the page names: one transfer, the exact figure, no rounding.

  3. Click "I've sent the payment"

Tell the page the transfer is on its way. If it asks for the transaction ID, paste it so the transfer is easier to find.

  4. Let the network confirm it

The top-up is matched by its exact amount and credited once the network has confirmed it. Bitcoin needs more time than USDT on Tron or SOL on Solana.

  5. Buy a credit pack

Pay any pack from the balance. If you started from a pack, it is bought once the top-up is credited, and your API key appears in the dashboard.

Which coin and network should I use?

Use the coin you already hold, on the network the payment page names. A stablecoin (USDT or USDC) keeps the amount in dollars, so the price you see is the price you pay. Network fees and confirmation times differ by chain; the table in the steps above gives the usual confirmation time for each network.

If you hold USDT on several chains, pick the one whose fee is smaller for your amount. The fee is paid by the sender and is not part of your top-up.

Why is there a minimum top-up?

Because each payment costs us checking and bookkeeping, whatever its size. The minimum is $25; any pack can then be bought from the balance, including the 10,000 pages pack at $3.75.

What you do not spend stays on the balance with no end date. If the pack you bought costs less than the minimum, the extra part can be asked back within 30 days, in USDT or USDC, as long as it is unspent.

What happens after I send the payment?

Click "I've sent the payment" on the payment page. We match the transfer by its exact amount, wait for the confirmations the network needs, and credit your balance. If you started from a pack, it is bought from the balance once the top-up is credited, and your API key is ready in the dashboard.

If you closed the tab, open the client area: pending and credited top-ups appear in your order history.

What if I send the wrong amount or use the wrong network?

A different amount cannot be matched by itself, and a transfer on another network may not reach the address at all. Before you send, check three things: the coin, the network and the exact amount.

If a mistake happened, write to [email protected] with the transaction ID and the order ID. Do not send your account number or API key. Funds sent on a network the payment page did not show may not be recoverable.

Can a crypto payment be refunded?

Refunds go to your balance rather than back to your wallet, which avoids a second network fee. A pack used at less than 20% within 72 hours, or a pack that never worked, is credited back. The refund policy gives the exact conditions and three examples.

What can I buy once my balance is credited?

Any pack: 10,000 pages for $3.75, 50,000 pages for $14.25 or 100,000 pages for $21.75, and larger ones on the pricing page. Credits never expire.

Paying in crypto: common questions

Do I need a card or an ID to pay?

No. WebReaderAPI takes crypto only and asks for no identity documents. Account-number login; email is optional.

Is the price fixed when I start the payment?

The payment page shows the amount in the coin you chose for that payment. Send that exact amount; a stablecoin keeps it equal to the dollar price.

Can I pay for credits per request instead of topping up?

No. Payments go through a prepaid balance, and each read uses credits from it. The balance and the credits never expire.

Where do I see my payments?

In the client area's order history, with each top-up's status, coin, network and transaction ID.
